Hiking in the Allgäu: In Oberjoch and Bad Hindelang you will find almost 300 kilometres of pure hiking enjoyment across more than 60 hiking trails that are as varied as our guests. And the resort of Oberjoch is the ideal starting point, as you can begin as soon as you leave the hotel!

We are all enthusiastic hikers and mountaineers ourselves! Together we will find you the perfect tour through the enchanting landscape of the Allgäu Alps, going past waterfalls, gorges and up to heavenly heights with a breath-taking view.

If you would prefer something a little more comfortable, you can also make use of the Iseler mountain railway in Oberjoch and the Hornbahn in Bad Hindelang – the mountain railways are free to you as a guest at the Löwen.

 

Our service for you:

• 1-2 times per week we offer guided hikes with our nature experience guide Wolfgang Zeller. The tours are always a very special experience, as Wolfgang adapts the tour individually to each group, knows paths away from the crowds, always has a special story to tell, a great knowledge about flora, fauna and the animal kingdom and, last but not least, occasionally provides the musical entertainment upon your return with his zither.
• Free hiking stick and rucksack rental.
