Good air, clear views, breath-taking mountains, exercise in nature, cool nights, the sound of cowbells, the chirping of crickets, a mighty storm that cools everything down, the aromatic smell of hay after the meadows have been reaped, beautiful blue sky, the exhilaration of reaching the peak, the reverence for nature, feeling the air rush across your face when riding a bike.

We are all passionate hikers and mountaineers ourselves. Together, we can find the perfect tour for you through the enchanting landscape of the Allgäu Alps, passing waterfalls, gorges, and ascending to heavenly heights with breathtaking views.
If you prefer a more comfortable option, you can also take advantage of the Iseler cable car in Oberjoch and the Hornbahn in Bad Hindelang. The cable cars are free for you as a guest at the Löwen.
Cycling tours on paved roads and bike paths, mountain bike tours over rough terrain, road bike tours over Alpine passes – all of this awaits you in the Allgäu.
The cycling and mountain biking network in our region is excellently developed, providing the perfect route for every challenge.
The diverse options include a variety of tours of different difficulty levels and, for freeride enthusiasts, the Bikepark at Hornbahn Bad Hindelang.
After an exhausting bike tour, hike, or just to cool off, we recommend the Hochmoor-Schwimmbad in Oberjoch. This outdoor pool features a natural and health-promoting moor water basin, as well as a children's pool and an idyllic sunbathing lawn in the midst of untouched nature. An interesting Hochmoor educational trail awaits exploration around the pool. Entry to the moor bath is free, but donations are always welcome.
Other swimming options include the natural pool in Bad Hindelang, the 'Prinze Gumpe' in Hinterstein, outdoor pools in Wertach, Jungholz, and Haller am Haldensee.
And there are also many lakes in the vicinity: the large and small Alpsee in Immenstadt, Haldensee in Haller/Tirol, Forggensee near Füssen, Grüntensee in Wertach, and many more.
Winding roads and breathtaking panoramas... what more could the motorcycle and vintage car enthusiast wish for?
The Jochpass, for example, captivates with its 107 curves and the viewpoint 'Kanzel,' offering a view of a magnificent mountain backdrop, well-known for the traditional Jochpass Memorial Race. In the east, you'll find the neighboring Tyrol with legendary Alpine passes such as Hahntennjoch and Gaichtpass.
Of course, the Allgäu not only offers sports highlights but also a variety of sights and excursion destinations in the immediate vicinity.
Oberjoch, with its central location, is an ideal starting point: the legendary castles of King Ludwig in Füssen, the carriage museum in Hinterstein, the Erdinger Arena in Oberstdorf, Lake Constance, and Kempten (the oldest city in Germany) are just a few examples.
